Shhh – don’t tell anyone – I’ve been working on a graphic novel! It’s the story of a sea turtle looking for love in a climate-changed underwater world. I am now querying book agents, seeking representation for finding a publisher.
I’ve been fortunate to work on this story in several awesome places already: a class at the Center for Cartoon Studies with Jon Chad and Kane Lynch, two brief residencies at St. Nell’s Humor Writing Residency for Ladies and one graphic novel workshop with Amy Kurzweil. There’s still a lot of work to do on it but I’m grateful for the encouragement and supportive spaces thus far.
